Sometimes songs help us put into words what we are feeling better than we can at the moment. The words of this song spoke to me this week and maybe they will speak to you as well.
I don't understand Your ways
Oh but I will give You my song
Give You all of my praise
You hold on to all my pain
With it You are pulling me closer
And pulling me into Your ways
Now around every corner
And up every mountain
I'm not looking for crowns
Or the water from fountains
I'm desperate in seeking, frantic believing
That the sight of Your face
Is all that I need
I will say to You
It's gonna be worth it
It's gonna be worth it
It's gonna be worth it all
I believe this
It's gonna be worth it
It's gonna be worth it
It's gonna be worth it all
I believe this
You're gonna be worth it
You're gonna be worth it
You're gonna be worth it all
I believe this
You're gonna be worth it
You're gonna be worth it
You're gonna be worth it all
I believe this

Your mom started sharing your situation with me last Tuesday, so you've been prayed for daily long distance from Houston! Seeing this posting today is such a show of the faith and trust you have in the midst of a very personal tragedy. The Lord allows so many "why's" in our lifetime, and I love the simple truth of this song: we don't have to understand or have all our questions answered...He IS all we need. Your mom has been such an intercessor for me, and I count it a priveledge to be able to pray for you and Austin.
